From C-section delivery to breastfeeding her child, this actress had to face a lot of problems.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ fame actress Sugandha Mishra talked about becoming a mother. In an interview given to E-Times, Sugandha said- ‘People often say and now I have also started believing that along with a child, a mother also takes a new birth. But when people used to say this, I thought that I will manage.
‘I was in a lot of pain…’
Sugandha further said- ‘In my journey of becoming a mother, I have learned to be patient and earlier I was my favorite but now my daughter is my favourite.’ The actress further said- ‘When I woke up as a new mother, everything had changed in my life. I was feeling the pressure of breastfeeding, taking care of the child and taking care of myself. I was in a lot of pain after anesthesia. When I took the first step after C-section, it was very painful.
Problems with breastfeeding
The actress further told how she was also worried about breastfeeding. She said- ‘When I complained to my doctor, she was very careless and gave me an ointment to apply, but asked me to continue breastfeeding. But I was in pain. Hormonal changes occur in the body and you become depressed. For this reason, I could not feel the connection with the child initially.
New born daughter had infection
Sugandha Mishra again said- ‘I could not sleep for the first three days. My daughter got an infection a week after birth. She was in NICU and I had to stay in the hospital. I went through a very bad phase after the birth of my daughter and was struggling with many things. I was struggling with postpartum problems, I was in pain because of my stitches and then my daughter was in NICU, that whole time was so difficult. That was the worst period of my life.
